Construction of the Dillon Pro Tunnel
Fall 2008 / Winter 2009
I built the original Pro Tunnel in 2008/2009 and sold the bare hull to Jeff Larson of Minneapolis, MN. Jeff finished and rigged the boat and raced it in GT Pro, an APBA Sportsman class raced in events organized by the Twin City Powerboat Association. He took second place in the GT Pro Highpoints Championship in 2009. See details of the project on the following pages:
[Page One] , [Page Two] , [Page Three] The Pro Tunnel is a pickle-fork tunnel boat specifically intended for GT Pro class racing. It has a wider and deeper tunnel than the Mini Tunnel, and it is winning races in Summer 2009.
