Glue Blocks

NOTE: The remaining longitudinal framing pieces intersect with the frames where there is currently only bulkhead plywood. Glue blocks will have to be added at each of these joints.

Sponson Keel

The sponson keels are ripped up their middles from the stem to frame 2. The lower edge is then sliced off at a long angle so that the cut surface lies on the outermost tunnel batten, and the keel tapers to nothing at the forward edge of the stem.

Tunnel Side Stringer

The tunnel side stringers are sliced off on the upper edge to tuck in between the tunnel batten and the sponson keel.
